P. Daraklis SA proudly continues an age-long family tradition in wood trade which originally started in 1934. In 1952 the company expanded its activities in the shipping industry and in 1978 it started producing standardized wooden shipping equipment.
Our expertise in the industry, inspired by our love for the Greek sea, and the use of the latest technology enable us to provide our customers with supreme quality products.
Our products include oars, wood blocks, wooden rudder, ladder steps, takaries, belaying pins, oar lock collars, wood locks for cars & trucks, hatch wedges, bucklers, wooden handles, pikes. Selected beech wood is used to ensure our products’ high-end quality. We specialize in Wooden Boxes and Pallets that meet the International Standard for Phytosanitary measures (ISPM15) by FAO. Our staff is also certified by the International Certification Centre.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship, attention to detail and use of the latest technological equipment to ensure timely delivery of quality products. Our company exclusively operates in Greece specialized machinery for custom oars manufacturing.
Since 1960 our company has also been actively involved in the Plastic Industry and is currently considered to be one of the leading manufacturers of soft PVC in Greece. Our plastics products include gaskets for glass support and sealing, aluminium, clear PVC tube, water hoses etc. Our gaskets for glass support and sealing meet the requirements of the EN-12365-1 standard.
